FPC Van Ministry: A Ride to Church, A Connection to Community
At FPC Durham, our Van Ministry is dedicated to ensuring that transportation is never a barrier to experiencing the love, fellowship, and teachings of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to provide safe, reliable transportation so that everyone—whether a first-time visitor or a longtime member—can gather in worship and grow in faith.
How It Works:
Reliable Rides – Our team of dedicated drivers picks up individuals and families from their homes and brings them to church services.
A Warm Welcome – We don’t just provide a ride—we make sure you feel at home from the moment you step into our van.
Stay Informed – If you need a ride, request to join our Van Ministry group for important updates on schedules, directions, and any changes.

Interested in Becoming a Van Driver?
If you have a heart for service and are available to help, we’d love for you to join our team!
Requirements:
Available 1–1.5 hours before each service
Commitment of 1–2 services per week or per month
Member of FPC with a valid driver’s license
There may be additional requirements for becoming a Van driver so please speak with one of the Van Ministry Leaders if interested.

We offer Van Rides for Tues PM and Sunday PM services. If you need a ride on Sun AM please let us know and we will get you in touch with one of our Bus ministry Leaders who will get you to church via Bus Ministry on Sunday Mornings services.
